Where does the data come from?

All holdings data comes directly from SEC EDGAR 13F filings - official quarterly reports that investment managers with $100M+ in assets are legally required to file. On top of this, we layer market price data to compute proprietary analytics like Double-Down Detection, estimated P&L, and Best Trades. The result is a unique analytics layer beyond raw filing data - not a wrapper around a third-party API.

Does the Conviction Score actually work?

We forward-tested across 11 years of data (2014-2025). Key finding: higher conviction bands have historically shown higher average P&L and win rates than lower bands. However, this does NOT guarantee outperformance vs. the market. Historical patterns may not repeat. How fresh is the data?

SEC 13F filings have a 45-day lag - funds file roughly 45 days after quarter end (mid-February, mid-May, mid-August, mid-November). But 13F data's value isn't in speed - it's in revealing long-term positioning and conviction patterns. We process filings within hours of SEC publication, so you see the data as soon as it's available.

How does the Conviction Score work?

Conviction Score (0-100) measures how meaningful a position is to a fund based on three dimensions: commitment (portfolio weight), action intensity (position change magnitude), and credibility (dollar magnitude). What's the difference between Pro and Pro+?
